Creatures Abound
round bodies hymning to a rhythm estranged bodies floundering along
never reaching the floor
not defined by space
wisps of energy elated
some can change their size
naive to material things
in-between
inquisitive, denser stretches of pebble seeming shadows
nipping at her toes
plopping stamping, gliding to and fro on the floor
fizzing the depth that cushions the vibe
assessing the walls, gluing and clamming to grasp at all there is
teeming the edges with gentle movement
too concerned with the around space, as if pulled by gravity to a coloring book
the butterfly lamp upon the shelf, next to a mirror where they may find the oblivion in themselves
windows where the light beacons in
yet there's a glowing slant, half a torch light
like overflowing water the door drifts open
inviting a new breeze
a sighing breath
of collapsed lungs, weary and sullen
a dense shape bearing weight and cannot change their shape is aware amidst the girls aweing state
as she tips and traces the trail of tattle tale glades
new real estate reels the young girl to a strange, vacuum of a place.
